Our Company

Sheridan Construction was established in 1947 and has continued to grow. Our people are the cornerstone of the company, and are highly motivated, possessing a broad range of skills. The average length of employment exceeds 10 years, and many have been part of the organization for over 20 years. Because of this experience, we have extraordinary control of the quality and schedule of our projects and the ability to expedite the schedules when necessary. We presently maintain approximately 100 permanent positions within the company consisting of office personnel within our sales, accounting, engineering, and construction departments, and construction personnel consisting of field crews, fabrication shop, warehouse, and fleet maintenance personnel. ​

As a design-build construction company with over 75 years of experience and a history of 3,000+ projects, Sheridan Construction has made a significant mark on northern New England’s landscape. Our traditional Maine values have helped build a strong employee-oriented organization, with equally strong client relationships. These enduring values have led us to strive for excellence in everything we do. Our qualifications cover a comprehensive range of construction industries. Sheridan can develop projects from the permitting process through job completion by staffing in-house licensed engineers, designers, LEED-accredited professionals, construction personnel, and fabricators. We self-perform a wide range of construction tasks, which affords better control of the project schedule and budget.

Josh Kervin appointed as Re-Roof & Maintenance Manager

We are pleased to announce that Josh Kervin has been appointed Re-Roof & Maintenance Manager for Sheridan Construction’s Re-Roof and Building MaintenanceDivision. Josh will lead our e orts to expand re-roof and building maintenance services for Butler buildings and other building systems.
