Constructed on the museum’s 25th anniversary, Owls Head Transportation opened a 21,000-square-foot addition in 2000 to house space dedicated to exhibition, education and visitor services. The 120 x 175 foot exhibition wing added to the north side of the museum houses ground vehicles and acts as a function space, seating up to 400. The new wing also includes needed collection storage, new rest rooms and a renovated front entry.
Sheridan Construction Corporation’s quality of service and product has enabled the Museum in great part to meet its goals and objectives. You will always be first in our thinking for building additions at Owls Head.
